Is BECOME an app?
No, BECOME is a full program that includes an app as one of its main interlocking components
The BECOME program is a holistic approach to careers education.
One part of it is a dynamic and engaging student-facing app called BECOME.me. This app is where students search and explore over 52,000 job titles and collect those that interest them for further investigation.
The BECOME program is complete and ready to roll out with fully fleshed out curriculum-aligned lessons, teacher training and PL, and a data insights dashboard that enables school leaders and teachers to see the trends in the careers their students are investigating.
In summary, there are three parts to BECOME:
- A dynamic student web app where job exploration occurs
- A large suite of teacher-led lessons, slides and worksheets
- An Insights dashboard for school leaders and teachers
