What is BECOME?

Drawing on research and evidence, BECOME is a program that combines teacher-led lessons with a student-facing app, challenges and a student-led project to engage students in exploring ideas for their future career as widely and as openly as possible.

Recognised internationally for its innovative combination of solid educational theory and technology, BECOME addresses the well-documented issue of limited aspirations in young people (OECD, 2020), and meets young people where they are right now. 

What does BECOME do?

The BECOME program entices students to explore the universe of over 50,000 potential careers, while learning about themselves, their interests and motivations. 

It is designed to teach students the skills they will need to create a future that fits them perfectly, to be flexible in a changing world, and to develop their own ideas about possible careers.

BECOME is not a career test. It builds skills and awareness that enable young people to understand and explore opportunities that are open to them, and develop the skills to design and navigate a future for themselves.
